Welcome back to all returning students, and a welcome here to all new students! If you’re interested in getting involved with Students for Justice in Palestine, make sure to speak with our members at the table on Sproul Plaza. We will be out often during the first few weeks of class. Our first meeting will be on Tuesday on the 11th of September at 7PM in 100 Wheeler. If you would like to receive e-mail updates, please make sure to join the mailing list.
Take a look at some more information about our organization, its principles, and its activities. Our group has two purposes on campus, and those are 1) to increase awareness about the Palestinians and their plight by putting on informational events, screening movies and documentaries, and bringing guest speakers from Palestine, and 2) to organize in the background to achieve our main on campus goal of getting the University of California to divest from Israel until it stops its oppression of the Palestinians.
If you want to become a part of the growing anti-apartheid movement at Cal, then make sure to bookmark this site, to come to our first meeting, and to join our mailing list.
Welcome to Cal!
